Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


- A 44-year-old floor installer from Carson City was arrested at 12:38 a.m. Monday in the 1100 block of Koontz Lane on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.


- A 61-year-old respiratory therapist from Carson City was arrested at 9:34 p.m. Sunday on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving. Bail was set at $1,132.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:


- A mother reported her son was "beat up" at 11:48 a.m. as he walked to a convenience store on North Carson Street.


- Report at 2:10 p.m. of $60,000 embezzled from a Carson City business by an employee.


- A man reported that the house he was watching for friends was burglarized. The television was stolen and it looked like people had been staying there, the man reported when he went by the Iris Street home at 4:31 p.m.


- Accident at Clearview and Silver Sage drives at 5:51 p.m.


Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:


- Accident at 3:24 a.m. on Highway 50 Alternate in Fernley.


- A grandmother reported her grandson found a laptop at the park on Red Rock Road in Mound House at 7:25 a.m.


- Misdemeanor arrest on Potosi Lane in Dayton at 5:25 p.m.
