Join the ladies and bring a guest or two while shopping for wine, crafts, jewelry galore with four vendors at all prices and styles.

There will be Wine Shop at Home, Pampered Chef, Fine Silver Jewelry by Sipada, Body Shop at Home, Chick-a-boom, chic boutique fashion bags, hats and scarves, handmade crafts, women's clothing and so much more. This is an event that is relaxing and fun. Linda Baker and her new jewelry line will be there to help you as well as Bev Saunders to help select the perfect wine or personalize a wine just for you.

You can even put your company's logo on them or family photo. This is not your usual craft show. These hand-selected vendors are very unique.

With the Holidays right around the corner and Veterans Day over, the next event brings some sadness as well as pride.

The Capital City Community Band will present a free concert featuring patriotic music in a tribute to our veterans. It will include a heartfelt tribute to fallen solider Fallon's Chief Warrant Officer Christian P. Humphreys and his family.

The Carson High School ROTC will present the colors of each branch of service. The band, under the direction of Richard Doede, will also perform a variety of music from marches to holiday selections.

Bring your entire family and join us in celebrating Pearl Harbor Day.

Peanutcracker, a nut shell of Peter Tchaikovsky's original ballet "The Nutcracker," is a revised, shorter version designed for the little ones and their families to enjoy.

The 45-minute performance is a wonderful way to introduce children of all ages to the magic of the world of ballet. There are several showings listed below, and the Sierra Nevada Ballet is reduced rates to organized school groups.

Also, if your interest in helping sponsor an "at risk" child to have a chance to attend this magical performance the information is below. Thanks to so many donations last year " more than 3,000 children received tickets.
