Arnold Jay Brandt

Arnold Jay Brandt passed away on Nov. 22, 2008 at home with his family by his side.

Arnie was born Oct. 25, 1936 in Bay City, Mich. to Wilbur and Hariette Brandt.

Arnie is a veteran of the Army and the Air Force Reserves. Arnie graduated from Orange Coast College in 1956 with a degree in Art and went on to earn his degree in Architecture in 1986. He designed many schools and custom homes throughout southern California. Arnie loved the arts and he appeared in many stage plays, which brought him great pleasure. He also was an artist and enjoyed painting and sketching for family and friends.

Arnie is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Joyce Elaine, his daughter Debbie and grandson Chad, his son Jeffrey and grandsons Spenser and Oliver, and his son Christopher and daughter-in-law Jonny; sisters Vivian, Doris and Judy and his brother David.

Arnie was preceded in death by his sister Shirley. One of Arnie's greatest joys in life was his family; he will be missed by all who knew him.
