Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- Keith Allen Price Jr., 26, a carpenter from Carson City, was arrested at 1:55 a.m. Wednesday at Moody and Park streets on suspicion of felony third-offense drunken driving, eluding arrest, reckless driving and driving on a suspended license. Bail was set at $11,496.

- Melony Kern, 25, of Gardnerville, was arrested at 10:53 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of East Park Street on suspicion of felony parole violation. No bail was set.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

- A caller reported at 3:36 a.m. of hearing people going through things in the duplex next door "being real quiet," in the duplex next door that is generally not occupied at this hour. When officers knocked on the door, a woman answered then ran out the back. A residential burglary report was taken.

- Report at 3:48 a.m. that a customer attempted to pay his tab, but his card was declined and he left anyway, at 3:48 a.m. on North Carson Street.

- A mother reported her 10-year-old son was battered by five juveniles on Carriage Crest at 5:59 p.m.

- Jewelry was reported stolen from a home on Rolling Hills Drive at 7:08 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

- Report of someone having siphoned gas from a waste transfer station vehicle on Enterprise Way at 3:32 p.m.

- Coroner call on Goldfield Drive in Yerington at 1:44 p.m.
