Hospital Auxiliary Gift Shop hosts open house

The Carson Tahoe Regional Healthcare Auxiliary Gift shop hosts a Holiday Open House 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Friday, Dec. 5. Al merchandise in the entire shop will be 25 percent off with the exception of See's candy, flowers and greeting cards. The Bearington Plush Holiday Collection and Christmas decorations will be highlighted. A raffle will be held. All proceeds benefit the Auxiliary in support of the Regional Medical Center, Nursing Scholarships and Regional Healthcare needs. For information, call 445-5142.

The Northern Nevada Komen Affiliate is offering the opportunity for all potential grantees to polish their grant-writing skills and learn more about the Komen grants process at a free workshop, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 9, at Renown Regional Medical Center, 1155 Mill Street, in the Remedees classroom in the Center for Advanced Medicine.
