Spring sale at hospital gift shop

Carson Tahoe Regional Healthcare Auxiliary Gift Shop will hold a 25 percent off sale in the entire shop today through Sunday, April 12. The gift shop hours are 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Monday-Friday; 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday and noon-4 p.m., Sunday. The gift shop is located in the lobby of the Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center, 1600 Medical Parkway. Call 445-5142.

Mile High Jazz band to perform

Mile High Jazz Band presents the big-band sound at their April Jazz Anniversary Concert, 8-10 p.m., Tuesday, April 14, Comma Coffee, 312 S. Carson St. Vocalist Sheryl Adams will perform. Mile High Jazz Band, which formed in 1997, has been playing monthly at Comma Coffee since April 2001. General admission is $5 at the door, and free for ages 18 and younger. For information, 883-2662.
