Sheriff's Log

Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- Donald Ray McNeill, 39, a construction worker from Carson City, was arrested at 3:12 p.m. Wednesday at Roop and Telegraph streets on suspicion of felony parole violation and misdemeanor failure to appear. No bail was set.

- Michael Jose Meza, 52, a salesman from Reno, was arrested at 11:59 a.m. Wednesday in the 2700 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of felony parole violation. No bail was set.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

- Coroner call in the 3000 block of North Ormsby Boulevard at 7:11 a.m.

- Accident at Snyder Avenue and Appion Way at 9:55 a.m.

- A fraudulent $100 was passed at a Carson Street casino at 5:37 p.m.

- A teen girl called 911 to say she ditched school, was on probation and fighting with her parents and that she didn't want to be at her house anymore. The girl was arrested.

- Coroner call in the 1400 block of West Washington Street at 7:30 p.m.

- Battery report in the 500 block of East William Street at 11:24 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

- Report of two students fighting at Fernley Intermediate School.

- Report of "a bunch of steel" stolen from a business on Airpark Vista Boulevard in Dayton at 11:49 a.m.

- Report of three students who brought a pellet gun to school then told other students they were going to kill a staff member at Fernley Intermediate School.

- Coroner call on Cypress Street in Silver Springs.
