SPARKS " Secret Witness is offering a $1,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of a gunman who robbed an auto parts store in Sparks on Saturday night.
Police say the man with a semiautomatic weapon robbed the Kragen auto parts store at about 9 p.m. Saturday at 345 Prater Way. He ordered a clerk to put money from the safe into a garbage bag.
The white gunman was described as being 5-foot-7, thin, in his mid to late 30s with scraggly facial hair. He wore a black and white Hurley baseball cap, blue jeans and a brown coat.
Anyone with information is asked to call Sparks police detectives at 353-2238 or Secret Witness at 322-4900.
