Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- Thomas Harold Edwards, 49, a roofer from Carson City, was arrested Tuesday at 4:31 p.m. on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon, misdemeanor battery and probation violation. Bail was set at $24,132.

- Kasey Nichols, 36, a construction worker from Carson City, was arrested at 7:12 p.m. Tuesday at College Parkway and Ormsby Boulevard on suspicion of felony battery with a deadly weapon, kidnapping, second-offense domestic battery, obstructing and resisting an officer, drunk driving and probation violation. Bail was set in excess of $100,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

- Identity theft report on Koontz Lane at 2:23 p.m.

- Domestic battery reports on Concord Drive, Lovelace Way and Winnie Lane.

- Fight report on Brown Street at 4:11 p.m.

- Fraud report on William Street.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

- Arrest on West Newlands Drive at 4:49 a.m. in Fernley.

- Report of license plates stolen from a vehicle at the Reno Fernley Raceway.

- Caller reported someone maliciously started the well and let it run, flooding the house and yard on Cremetti Lane in Mason Valley at 7:55 a.m.

- A Dayton woman reported at 1:45 p.m. that her friend, and friend's boyfriend, took money out of her pocked and stole her car two days earlier.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

- Report of an intoxicated driver on Wild Horse Canyon Road at 3:39 a.m.

- Arrest at Seven Miles Flat at 3:35 p.m.

- Report of an elderly couple falling on the boardwalk on South C Street at 4:05 p.m.
