Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Crystal Cruz, 26, of Carson City, was arrested at 9:56 p.m. Thursday in the 3700 block of Reeves Street on suspicion of felony domestic battery with substantial bodily harm, battery with intent to kill and possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia. She allegedly ran her boyfriend over with her truck. His injuries were not life threatening. Bail was set at $40,000.

• A 21-year-old student from Carson City was arrested at 12:40 a.m. Friday in the 500 block of East William Street on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and probation violation. Bail was set at $3,732.

• Michael James Withrow, 25, a seasonal firefighter from Carson City, was arrested at 11:48 p.m. Thursday on Monte Rosa Drive on suspicion of felony preventing a witness from reporting a crime and domestic battery. Bail was set at $10,632.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• A woman reported she let someone borrow her car and they hadn't yet returned it by 8:12 a.m.

• Residential burglary report on Karin Drive at 2:22 p.m.

• Report at 2:49 p.m. of a neighbor telling the caller he was going to kick the caller's butt.

• A vehicle stolen from Modesto, Calif., was recovered on Forrest Way at 3:42 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Graffiti report on Lois Lane in Fernley at 8:23 a.m.

• Report of a person bit by a dog on Washoe Circle in Stagecoach.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Highway 95 Alternate in Mason Valley.
