CHS freshmen football beats Wooster

The Carson High freshmen football team continued to roll with a 33-6 win against Wooster on Thursday.

Dylan Sawyers continued his strong play for CHS (4-1, 3-0 in the Sierra League), rushing for 90 yards and scoring three touchdowns. Austin Pacheco scored the other three touchdowns, including one on a 70-yard kickoff return and another on a 55-yard punt return. Pacheco also rushed for 78 yards and Spencer Bass rushed for 41 yards for Carson.

On defense for Carson, Logan Peternell and Roman Smokey each intercepted a pass, Chance Harmon recovered a fumble and Patrick Hesse, Alex Crathers and Gage Seaver all played well defensively.
