The Galena High girls tennis team advanced to today's Northern 4A finals with a 13-5 win over McQueen on Thursday in the zone semifinals at Galena.
Mica Olson won 6-3, 6-1, 6-0, Hailey Llop won 6-0, 6-1, 6-1 and Hannah Llop won 6-1, 6-2, 6-2 as Galena swept all nine singles matches. In doubles, Adie Potter and Lindy Deller won 6-0, 6-0, Emily McClintock and Leann Roggensack won 6-3 and Annie Roach and Kelsey Rummler won 6-4 for the Grizzlies.
Galena will face Reno High at 3 p.m. today a the Cauglin Tennis Club with the winner advancing to the NIAA 4A State Tournament.
