Players to watch: Fernley - QB Bryce Baker, RB Mike Kendricks; Dayton - OL-DL Mitch Gilgert, RB-LB Nick Bircheff
The skinny: With a playoff spot in hand, Fernley advances to the playoffs no matter what happens tonight. The Vaqueros' Kendricks is one of the toughest runners in Northern Nevada and as he goes, so foes the Fernley offense. Baker has done a nice job managing games this season. Meanwhile, Dayton is coming off its worst offensive game in recent memory with 118 yards unofficially of total offense in a 12-6 loss to Lowry. Gilgert and Bircheff were phenomenal on defense last week, and both will have to come up with hte same sort of performance if the Dust Devils have a chance to pull off a big upset.
