Don Denton, 80, a resident of Carson City for 35 years, died Monday, Oct. 27, 2008, at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center. He was born June 12, 1928, in La Yunta, Colo. to Jessie and Ralph Denton. Among his survivors are his wife of 58 years, Rosie, five children Mary Ann Barron, Jeff Denton, Janet Colonna, Judy Zastre, and Jeannette Bonaldi, their spouses all of Carson City; 13 grandchildren, their spouses; 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A viewing will be 5-7 p.m., Sunday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley; rosary and mass will be 10:30 a.m., Monday at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Burial will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery in Carson City following mass. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
