Ray was born April 25, 1972 in Castro Valley, Calif. and died September 4, 2008 at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center, in Carson City after a brief illness.
He was a loving husband of Janna L. Pirnat of Dayton; adoring father of Jessica and Kayla Pirnat; son of Lisa Curtis of Carson City and Rudolph R. Pirnat who preceded him in death; son-in-law to Lennie Jo and Fred Barnes of Milwaukee, Ore.; brother to Louise Hutchens of Lathrop, Calif.; Michael Pirnat of Oakley, Calif.; Gregory Pirnat of Byron, Calif. and Mark Pirnat of Hayward, Calif.; brother-in-law to Fred and Lisa Barnes of Milwaukee, Ore. and Keith and Christina Barnes of Ventura, Calif. , as well as by loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Ray worked at Home Depot where he leaves many caring co-workers and customers. Ray loved remote controlled cars, quad riding in the back hills and every moment spent with family and friends.
A memorial gathering will be noon, Wednesday, at Mills Park in Carson City.
Arrangements are in the care of Autumn Funerals and Cremations.
