Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
- A 38-year-old self-employed Carson City woman was arrested at 8:09 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of Mary Street for suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear in court. Bail was set at $434.
- Thomas Steven Poirier, 26, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 7:25 a.m. Friday in the 3900 block of Center Street on a felony bench warrant. No bail was set.
- Joshua Jeremiah Hogan, 31, an electrician from Carson City, was arrested at 11:44 p.m. Friday at Carson and Park Streets for suspicion of gross misdemeanor driving under the influence-second and misdemeanor speeding. Bail was set at $2,607.
- A 19-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 12 p.m. Friday at Carson High School on Saliman Street on a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant. Bail was set at $500 cash.
- A 19-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 6:48 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of West Caroline Street for suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear in court. Bail was set at $268 cash.
- A 21-year-old tool mechanic from Dayton was arrested at 4:32 a.m. Saturday on the ramp at Highway 50 and Highway 395, for suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence, misdemeanor failing to use due care, and misdemeanor expired insurance. Bail was set at $2,006.
- A 32-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 6:12 p.m. Saturday at Baker and Colorado streets for suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence. Bail was set at $1,132.
- Jose Luis Cazares-Meza, 37, of Carson City was arrested at 3:45 p.m. Saturday in the 3100 Block of Shriver Avenue for suspicion of felony grand larceny. Bail was set at $25,000. According to a sheriff's deputy's report, Cazares-Meza was arrested after a witness identified him as one of two men seen loading up a cart full of groceries and alcohol at Save Mart on North Carson Street and walking out of the store, passing all pay points and not making any attempt to pay for the items, the value of which was estimated at more than $250. The witness described Cazares-Meza's license plate number and he was arrested later at his home. Bail was set at $25,000
-A 23-year-old medical technician from Yerington was arrested at 3 p.m. Sunday in the 800 block of Musser Street for misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $1,000.
- A 31-year-old dish installer from Carson City was arrested at 3 p.m. Sunday in the 800 block of Musser Street for suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear in court. Bail was set at $1,019 cash.
- A 24-year-old laborer from Carson City was arrested at 12:28 a.m. Sunday in the 3000 block of North Roop Street for suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court warrant from East Fork Justice Court in Douglas County. Bail was set at $1,414 cash.
- Eric Daniel Fuentes, age unknown, an artist from Carson City was arrested at 11:05 a.m. Sunday in the 3600 block of Woodside on a felony contempt of court warrant. Bail was set at $10,000 cash.
Lyon County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Friday:
- Domestic dispute in the 200 block of Grosh Avenue, Dayton, at 1:45 a.m.
- A fight in the 1300 Block of East Newlands Drive, Fernley, at 3:16 a.m.
- Larceny report in the 600 block of Fremont Street, Fernley, at 7:54 a.m.
- Assault with a deadly weapon in the 300 block of Sweetwater Circle, Dayton, at 10:11 a.m.
- Abandoned vehicle on Linehan Road in Mound House at 10:34 a.m.
- Domestic dispute in the 3600 block of Prospect Avenue, Silver Springs, at 12:27 p.m.
