William Shanks, 77, a Carson City resident, died Sept. 22, 2008. He was born May 9, 1931 in Randolph, Mass. to Charles and Dora (Curtiz) Shanks. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
