Donald E. Tinder, 55, a 16-year resident of Dayton, died Sept. 23, 2008. He was born in Morganfield, Ky. March 15, 1953 to Edwin Tinder and Betty Jean Azer. Among his survivors are his companion of 19 years, Mary Ramey; mother Jean Gorey of Lakeland, Fla.; brother Mike of Quakertown, Pa.; sister Patty Schaff of Palmer, Mass; uncle, John Tinder of Rhoadeville, N.J. His father, Edwin Tinder preceded him in death. A celebration of Life will be 2-6 p.m., Oct. 18 at his N. Rainbow home, Dayton. Walton's Chapel of the Valley has been entrusted with his arrangements.
