Carson City


The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Jeremiah Bray, 23, a caregiver from Carson City, was arrested at 800 block of East Musser Street at 2:30 p.m. on suspicion of felony possession of stolen property. Bail was set at $25,000.


• Cody Scott McChesney, 28, of Carson City, was arrested at 7:50 p.m. Monday in the 2100 block of Lone Mountain on two counts of suspicion of felony possession of stolen property, and misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $25,590.


• Roger Schenkhuizen, 30, a heating and air conditioning employee from Carson City, was arrested at 10:12 p.m. at Seventh and Stewart streets on suspicion of gross misdemeanor violation of bail conditions, misdemeanor driving on a suspended license, failure to use turn signal and driving without insurance. Bail was set at $4,446.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:


• Coroner call in the 200 block of North Pratt Street at 7:07 a.m.


• A woman reported that her estranged boyfriend called and left her a message that he was "trashing" her home at 6:36 p.m.


• Coroner call in the 1600 block of Medical Parkway at 6:40 p.m.


• A 1994 Chrysler Town and County mini van was reported stolen from College Parkway at 11:44 p.m.


Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday :


• A caller reported at 1:43 a.m. that dogs in the neighborhood were barking and it sounded like "something is being dragged" on Lake Street in Silver Springs.


• Arrest on Cory Way in Fernley at 4:04 a.m.


• Report of bulls used in a rodeo on Sunday were loose from their pens in Out of Town Park and wandering around at 6:59 a.m.


• A student was detained in the office at Silver Stage Middle School for biting another student at 9:22 a.m.


• Fight report on Main Street in Fernley at 12:52 a.m.


• Felony arrest on Highway 95 A in Fernley at 4:24 p.m.


• A Mark Twain day care worker reported at 4:30 p.m. that a man was sitting in a car near the playground watching the children.


• Report of a power pole catching fire on Grosh Avenue at 4:50 p.m.


• Fight on Highway 50 East in Dayton at 4:59 p.m.


• Felony arrest on Wells Fargo Avenue in Mark Twain at 6:46 p.m.


• Report of a 10-year-old male driving a vehicle in Dayton with an intoxicated adult as a passenger. Officers were unable to locate.


• Misdemeanor arrest on Santa Fe Trail in Stagecoach at 9:17 p.m.


Storey County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:


• Arrest at 3:25 p.m. on State Route 341.


• Report of a woman screaming on the side of Geiger Grade at 10:26 p.m. When caller approached the woman she "took off and refused to talk."
