Obituary: Mona Edgar

Mona Edgar, 80, died March 29, 2009 in Carson City. She was born March 5, 1929 in London, England. She is preceded in death by father, Charles Baker; mother, Helene Baker; husband, Clay and son, Clayton Junior. Among her survivors are sons, Steve and Bryce Edgar ; daughter Leslie (Bill) Maddox of Carson City and granddaughters, Blair (Dusty) McDowell and Kerinne Edgar. A viewing will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley. Burial will be 1 p.m., Friday at Mountain View Cemetery, Reno. In lieu of flowers, the family requests anyone wanting to make a donation, do so to their favorite charity in Mona's name. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
