Man sought in passing of bad check

A Carson City man is being sought for questioning in connection with the alleged cashing of a counterfeit government check.

Carson City Sheriff's Detective Bob Motamenpour said he wants to speak with Justin Cox, 35. He stands 6-feet-3-inches tall and weighs 225 pounds. Cox's last known address at the Silver Queen Hotel at 201 W. Caroline St.

Anyone with information on Cox's whereabouts is asked to call Motamenpour at 887-2020 ext. 41406.
