Carson City firefighters contained a fire behind Greenhouse Garden Center
Firefighterse battled 30 mph constant winds, with gusts in the 40s, causing them to race between about seven piles of burning yard material.
Fire Chief Stacey Giomi said the main concern was being sure they located any embers that may have blown onto the nearby hillside.
