James Edward Collier, 84, a resident of Dayton and formerly of Carson City, died April 18, 2009. Mr. Collier was born Jan. 19, 1925 in Omaha, Neb. to James Marcellus and Lillian (Freeman) Collier. He was preceded in death by his parents. Among his survivors are wife Arlene; daughters Ann Weyrick of Carson City, Christine Mavis of Tuscon, Ariz. and son Matthew Collier of Carson City.
