John Proctor Peirce, 82, a Carson City resident died April 17, 2009. Mr. Peirce was born Jan. 2, 1927 in Moberly, Mo. to Proctor Dean and Geneva (Christian) Peirce. He was preceded in death by his parents. Among his survivors are sons John and Chris Peirce of Sun Valley, Nev. and Chad Peirce of Carson City.
