Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- A 46-year-old transient from Carson City was arrested Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. in the 600 block of East Robinson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor trespassing. Her bail was set at $220.

- A 19-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 1500 block of North Roop Street on suspicion of domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.

- A 28-year-old caregiver from Carson City was arrested at 2:36 p.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of East Musser Street on a warrant for non-sufficient funds. Bail was set at $1,101.

- Phillip Crigler Clawson, 58, a welder from Fallon was arrested at 12:58 p.m. Tuesday in the 1100 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of felony grand larceny, third-offense drunken driving, misdemeanor domestic battery and driving without a valid license. $28,239.

- Patrick Ortiz, 20, a real estate agent from Reno, was arrested at 3:45 a.m. Wednesday at Proctor and Carson streets on suspicion of felony probation violation. No bail was set.

- Maria Ann Elieff, 31, a certified nursing assistant from Carson City, was arrested at 12:03 a.m. Wednesday at Roop and Oregon streets on suspicion of felony third-offense drunken driving, speeding and failure to maintain lane. Bail was set at $10,194.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

- Report of a car "keyed" on South Carson Street at 3:46 a.m.

- A woman from Winnemucca called at 10:43 a.m. to ask that a deputy go out to her mother's house and turn back on her mother's cell phone. She said the 72-year-old woman always holds the button down too long to hang up the call and inadvertently turns off the phone.

- A trooper was out with a "couple toddlers in the road" in the 3300 block of Airport Road at 11:27 a.m. At about the same time, the parents arrived on scene.

- A woman reported at 11:57 a.m. that she was followed by a man who "slapped her on her butt."

- A second grader student ran away from his school at 11:59 a.m. At 12:11 p.m. he returned to the school.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

- Report of prescription pills stolen from a home on Spruce Drive in Silver Springs.

- Stolen purse report on Villa Way in Fernley at 8:05 a.m.
