Just a reminder that Marge Poore is coming to town to give cooking classes at Molly's Catering at 6 p.m. on May 15 and at noon May 16.

Here are the menus for the classes. There is still plenty of space, Call 775-841-5511 to reserve a spot. Also see below for one of Marge Poore's great recipes.

Menu for class on May 15 includes Latin Small plates, Costa Rican Hearts of Palm appetizer, Brazilian Shrimp salad, Barbados Cornmeal, Zucchini and scallion Coo-Coo, Cuban Beef Boliche and Latin Rum Raisin and Nut Cakes.

The menu for class on May 16 includes Molletes (open-faced bean and melted cheese tortas), Tuna with Capers, Olives, and Jalapenos on Toast (minilla), Spiced Chicken with Mushrooms (pollo con hongos), Corn Pancakes (tortitas de elote), Baked Bananas with brown sugar syrup (platinos el horno)

- Molly Gingell, owner, and Anne Wiles are at Molly's Gourmet Catering, takeout and cooking school at 220 W. John St. in Carson City.
