Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 47-year-old Sun Valley women was taken into civil protective custody at 12:20 p.m. Thursday at Molly and Long streets.

• A 44-ear-old unemployed house cleaner was arrested at 1:25 p.m. Thursday at Costco on suspicion of misdemeanor petty larceny and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Bail was set at $1,469.

• A 37-year-old transient painter was arrested at 2:50 a.m. Friday in the 700 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $632.

• James Patrick Brennan, 26, of Carson City, was arrested Friday at 2:10 a.m. in the 3100 block of Florentine Drive on suspicion of felony assault on a peace officer, two counts of gross misdemeanor battery on a peace officer, misdemeanor obstructing a peace officer and disorderly conduct. According to the arrest report, Brennan allegedly called police to his home to report an imagined intruder. When officers arrived, he jumped out a back window, climbed to his rooftop, then jumped off the roof and ran from officers, discarding his clothing, the report states. Once cuffed by deputies, Brennan allegedly continued to resist arrest, kicked and head butted an officer in the face, and was tased twice. One deputy was placed on medical leave after sustaining a sprained ankle during the pursuit. Brennan's bail was set at $20,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• A motorcyclist struck a fawn on Winnie Lane at Ormsby Boulevard at 7:45 a.m.

• Coroner call on Koontz Lane at 8:19 a.m.

• Coroner call on Palo Verde Drive at 9:32 a.m.

• Report at 2:58 p.m. of a rental trailer overdue since July 27.

• Coroner call on Century Circle at 3:53 p.m.

• Report of loud music on Allouette Way at 7:44 p.m. A teen was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor minor consuming alcohol.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Felony arrest of a man on Main Street in Fernley at 12:30 a.m.

• Felony arrest of a woman on Boyer Lane in Silver Springs after a man called and said the woman was hitting him with a stick at 12:37 p.m.

• Misdemeanor arrests of a man and woman on Thornwood Court in Dayton at 2:25 p.m.

• Report of three men acting suspiciously at Out of Town Park in Fernley at 2:58 p.m.

• A Mound House mother reported at 4:19 p.m. that her 11-year-old daughter was battered Monday by the mother's ex-boyfriend.

• Misdemeanor arrest of a man on Virginia Street in Silver Springs at 3:02 p.m.

• Report at 5:08 p.m. of ammunition stolen, a sliding glass door and fence damaged at a home on Pete Heinrichs Drive in Mason Valley.
