Tom Shelton, 69, of Carson City, died Aug. 8, 2009. Tom was born on May 13, 1940 in Portland, Ore., to Guy and Ella Gertrude (McCormick) Shelton. He is survived by his wife, Jacie Shelton; children Teresa Levash, Sandy Parkhurst and Robby Shelton; son-in-law Lenny Levash; grandchildren Amanda Cole, Matthew Cole and Ryan Parkhurst; great-grandchildren Jaylen Martinez, Isabella Martinez, Kylee Randell, Mackenna Parkhurst and Haylee Hansen; and sisters Patty and Lisa Shelton. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 17 at St. Teresa Of Avila with burial to follow at Lone Mountain Cemetery. Autumn Funerals & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
