Phyllis Markley Bridie and Mark Mercier recently announced their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Duane Markley of Spokane, Wash., and the late Ellie Ceccarelli. She currently works as office manager at Circuit Functions, Inc., in Carson City.
The groom-to-be is the son of Louis and Kathleen Mercier of Reno. He currently works as manager of G&G Nursery in Sparks.
The couple plan to wed Sept. 19 at Connected Church of the Nazarene with Steve Pollard officiating.
