Catrina Mae Beyer and Paul Girard Capistrant recently announced their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Amanda Bistryski and Joe Bistryski of Grahan, Wash., and Gary and Marilyn Beyer of Lake Oswego, Ore.
She is a 2002 graduate of Emerald Ridge High School in Puyallup, Wash. She received a bachelor's decree in aeronautical science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Prescott, Ariz., in 2007. She currently works as a pilot with Memley Aviation, Inc. out of Fresno, Calif.
The groom-to-be is the son of the late Richard Capistrant, and Fred and Shirley Suwe of Carson City.
He is a 2000 graduate of Carson High School and received a bachelor's decree in aeronautical science in 2007 from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He currently works as a pilot at the international flight training academy in Bakersfield, Calif.
The couple are planning a Sept. 19, 2010, wedding at Lake Tahoe.
