Obituary: Bill Gary Solley

Bill Gary Solley, 80, of Carson City, died Aug. 13, 2009. He was born July 7, 1929, in Long Beach, Calif. He is survived by wife, Millie Solley; sons, Donald Solley and wife Linnie of Gardnerville, Carl Solley and wife Gwen of Fort Collins, Colo., and Richard Solley and wife Nita of Mott, N.D.; 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister Mary Senter of Carson City and brother-in-law Joe Fayant of Los Angeles. A rosary was recited Aug. 17 at Walton's Chapel of the Valley. A funeral mass was celebrated Aug. 18 at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial was in Walton's Carson Gardens Cemetery. Walton's Chapel of the Valley handled arrangements.
