Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 24-year-old server from Carson City was arrested at 12:41 p.m. Wednesday on East William Street on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear.

• A 20-year-old carpet cleaner from Carson City was arrested at 5:05 p.m. Wednesday in the 3100 block of Bunch Way on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $500.

• A 28-year-old waitress from Carson City was arrested at 11:04 a.m. Wednes-day in the 3300 block of Market Street on suspicion of misdemeanor second-offense drunken driving. Bail was set at $2,500.

• An 18-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 2:09 a.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of Silver Oak. Bail was set at $237.

• Samantha Ann Calvaresi, 22, of Carson City, surrendered to police at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday on a felony warrant for suspicion of writing checks with insufficient funds. Bail was set at $5,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Two people were cited for shoplifting at 2:42 p.m. at Sak-n-Save on Highway 50 East.

• Accident in the 1500 block of Walker Drive at 3:05 p.m.

• A bicycle was stolen from Scarlet Circle at 3:16 p.m.

• Two people were cited for shoplifting at Wal-Mart at 5:44 p.m.

• Coroner call on F Street at 7:09 p.m.

• Coroner call in the 2400 block of Bunch Way at 8:13 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Report of a rifle found in a garbage can on Chisholm Trail in Fernley at 9:03 a.m.

• Report of windows busted out of a vehicle on Yellowjacket Road in Mark Twain at 12:49 p.m.
