William Caughlin, 55, was born June 27, 1954 in San Pedro, Calif., and passed away Aug. 14, 2009 in Carson City, Nev. Known as Bill, he moved to Carson City in 2003 and until recently worked in security for the Carson Nugget.
He was dearly loved and will be missed by all of his family and friends.
He is survived by his brothers, Donald Caughlin of Monument, Colo., Roger Caughlin of the Palm Desert area of California, Walter Caughlin of Point Richmond, Calif., Gregory Caughlin of Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., and Charles Caughlin of John Day, Ore.; sister, Maureen Pitkin of San Clemente, Calif.; three nieces; three nephews; and two grand-nephews.
A service will be held in the South Bay Area in California at a later date. Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City is in charge of arrangements.
