Shirley M. Darling died Aug. 19, 2009, at her home in Carson City of congestive heart failure. Shirley was born Jan. 27, 1927, in Cambridge, Mass., to Mr. and Mrs. Austin Tibbetts.
Shirley is survived by husband Robert, of Carson City; brother Gordon and wife Marlene Tibbetts of Roseville, Calif.; sister Joy and husband Ethan Winston of Roseville; son Shane and wife Bonnie Wirtz of Redmond, Wash.; daughter Roin McGahuey and granddaughter Christa of Carson City; and stepdaughter Sheryl Wilson and husband Earl of Weed, Calif.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
