Katharina Ehresman, 102, died Aug. 21, 2009 at her home in Carson City. She was born Jan. 25, 1907 in South Dakota to John and Katherina Feickert. Her husband, George, and son Ray preceded her in death. Katharina is survived by sons Gus Ehresman and wife, Sandy, and Alfred Ehresman and wife, Charlotte; daughter Esther Malka and husband, Julian; sisters Lydia R. Johnson and Eve McMillan; six grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2 followed by the funeral service at Elk Grove Congregational Church, Elk Grove, Calif. Burial will follow at Franklin Cemetery, Franklin, Calif.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
