Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 43-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested Tuesday at Sage Street and Hot Springs Road on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a protective order. Bail was set at $1,132.

• A 25-year-old construction worker from Carson City was arrested at 12:37 a.m. at Roop and Long streets on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving, driving without headlights and driving without a valid license. Bail was set at $1,426.

• A 36-year-old business owner from Reno was arrested at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday in the 1400 block of South Deer Run Road on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• A man reported at 8:05 a.m. that a woman against whom he has a restraining order came into his office and told him his "whole family is dead."

• Report of tools, valued at $2,000, stolen from the Bristlecone Building at Western Nevada College.

• Accident at East Fifth and Elaine streets at 12:59 p.m.

• Accident at Goni Road and Arrowhead drives at 1:47 p.m.

• A woman walking on Retail Road reported at 3:31 p.m. that a man followed her and "propositioned her for sexual favors."

• Accident at Rice and Carson streets at 5:09 p.m.

• Report of people smoking marijuana in a garage on Brookside Way at 8:17 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Misdemeanor arrest on Caroline Way in Stagecoach at 6:45 p.m.

• Battery report on Highway 339 in Mason Valley at 8:35 p.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Second Avenue in Mason Valley at 8:57 p.m.
