Obituary: Gordon H. Saunders

Gordon H. Saunders, 83, died Nov. 29, 2009, in Carson City. He was born March 3, 1926, to George and Lilie Saunders in Grass Valley, Calif. He was preceded in death by a son Dale Saunders, his mother and father and three brothers. Among his survivors are wife Arlene of Carson City, sons Lynn Gordon Saunders of Dayton, sons and daughters-in-law Dean and Tina Saunders of Carson City and Doug and Charlotte Saunders of Moundhouse, daughter and son-in-law Joyce and Jeff Cunningham of Carson City and daughter Karen Saunders of Dayton, 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, at Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City with entombment to follow in Walton's Carson Gardens cemetery. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
