A gala night at the Lake Theater: The theater will unite with the Leisure Hour Club tomorrow night in a double program of pictures, songs and a closing farce. Three reels will be shown, the Ladies Guitar and Mandolin Club will play, Miss Sweetland will sing "You and Eternity." All tickets include a chase for the goose.

70 YEARS AGO

Minden residents brave the cold for the annual Parade of Lights led by a horse-drawn wagon. "It really was a bundle-up event," said Commissioner Bernie Curtis.
