Anybody who finds James Jones, a man of 55, six one with black eyes, dark brown hair mixed with gray, wearing No. nine boots with a limp in his leg and three bullet scars in his shoulder, can get $125 by forwarding him to Governor Kinkead. Jones is an escaped convict.

Doctor Yoakum of the Pisgah Institution of Los Angeles will offer his services at the Methodist Church in the near future. It has often been asked, "Can Doctor Yokum really heal the sick and lame by the laying of hands?"

Mesdames M.R. Brubic and George Gottschalk were co-hostesses last evening at a surprise handkerchief shower in honor of Mrs. A. E. Laurent at the home of Mrs. Richard Gamwell. Hearts and bridge were played during the evening.

Director Richard Ham of the employment security office will join forces with agencies throughout the state to overcome "age bias" for persons over 40. Ham said America is squandering manpower because of prejudice.

The Reno Optimists Club breaks the all-male barrier by inviting Tony Poloni into the club. The club opened membership to women in the international group in 1987.

10 YEARS AGO

The Carson City Sheriff's Reserves will be going door to door dressed as Santa Claus this year. The reservists are donating gifts to good girls and boys.
