RENO - Two Reno teenagers are accused of breaking into an elderly woman's home and threatening her with guns before stealing her vehicle.
Police say the 73-year-old woman and her adult son awoke to voices in their home around 4 a.m. Thursday, and were confronted by the two suspects.
The woman tried to defend herself with a vacuum cleaner attachment and was struck in the face by one of the teens with a rifle. The two then fled.
Police say a the woman's stolen vehicle was seen by a family member later in the day at Idlewild Park, and police were called.
The 16- and 17-year-old suspects face charges of robbery with a deadly weapon, burglary, grand theft and false imprisonment.
