An order for Stagecoach residents to boil their water will continue into tomorrow, said Jeff Page with the Lyon County Emergency Management Office.
About 4:30 p.m. Monday, a water main broke near Cheyenne Trail prompting officials to issue the order that residents east of the break boil their water as a precaution.
Page said the main was repaired earlier today, but officials want to test the water servicing that area for two days before declaring it safe for human consumption. The main does not affect people living in Silver Springs, said Page.
He said the water should be safe for other uses, such as showering and cleaning.
