Some in Stagecoach without water after break

A ruptured water main in Stagecoach could be out all night as workers make slow progress to fix it.

The line ruptured about 3 p.m. Monday.

Residents east and south of Cheyenne Trail, including Cheyenne Trail, are affected, said Stagecoach General Improvement District Manager Lynne Arndell.

A boil water order has been issued, according to Jeff Page, Lyon County Emergency Management Residents affected should bring water to a boil and let boil for two minutes before using the water for drinking.

Water is not expected to be restored until this morning.
