Herbert "Mike" Lorence, 88, died Dec. 16, 2009, in Carson City. He was born Oct. 6, 1921, in Secacus, N.J. to William and Caroline Lorence. He is survived by daughters, Linda Milliorn (George,) and Carol Black; son Jeffrey Lorence; brother William Lorence; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
