Obituary: Barbara Anne Perry Smith

Barbara Anne Perry Smith, a 35-year resident of Virginia City, died Dec. 18, 2009, in Reno. She was born Sept. 14, 1931, in Sacramento, Calif., to James Clinton and Anna Louise (Koontz) Perry. She had lived in Nevada for 72 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Norman Baker Smith, M.D.; sister Ellen Jane Polfus; and a nephew. She is survived by her sister Janet Carol Perry of Virginia City; son Christopher Arthur Clinton Smith (Dwina) of Salmon, Idaho; daughter Kerry Louise McCullah (Lawson) of Dayton; and three grandchildren. No services will be held. FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
