Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 19-year-old Reno man was arrested at 11:40 a.m. Monday at the Carson City Courthouse on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court and disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $737.

• A 37-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of David Street on suspicion of misdemeanor second-offense drunken driving and obstructing an officer. Bail was set at $5,539.

• Edward Dale Cheney, 20, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 4:45 p.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of Roland Street on suspicion of felony statutory sexual seduction. He allegedly had sex with a

15-year-old girl. Bail was set at $15,000.

• April Renee Howe, 24, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 4:27 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Fleischmann Way on suspicion of felony kidnapping, misdemeanor child endangerment and two counts of domestic battery. She allegedly punched her mother in the face and refused to let her leave. Bail was set at $26,264.

• A 27-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 2:55 a.m. Sunday at Proctor and Curry streets on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Also arrested was his 26-year-old girlfriend on domestic battery charges, and a 33-year-old man and his 23-year-old friend on battery charges. The four were in a bar drinking when the 27-year-old man and his girlfriend began to physically fight. The two other men tried to intervene. The 27-year-old suffered a head injury after head butting the 23-year-old who lost a tooth.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• A Walmart customer was cited at 12:52 a.m. for shoplifting.

• A man reported at 1:26 a.m. that his ex-girlfriend asked him to come over to her house and when he did two men jumped him. The ex-girlfriend said the ex-boyfriend showed up uninvited and barged in. Then her boyfriend beat him up.

• Report of tires slashed on a vehicle on Lone Mountain Drive sometime before 8:56 a.m.

• A man reported children, ages 11 and 10, asked him for a cigarette on Long Street at 11:12 a.m. When he refused, the children threw snowballs and rocks at him.

• A caller on Airport Road turned in a found wallet at 11:59 a.m.

• Three teens were cited for shoplifting at Walmart at 4:03 p.m. A 7-year-old boy with them was almost picked up by child services, but the boy's parent took custody of him at 5 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Felony arrest on Parsley Court in Stagecoach at 7:07 a.m.

• Report of $800 stolen via debit card from a Fernley man's bank account. ꆱ
