The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

FRIDAY

At 2 p.m., a 21-year-old Carson man was arrested on suspicion of stealing two bottles of alcohol from Raley’s. Bail was set at $500.

SATURDAY

At 1:46 a.m., a 29-year-old Reno man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-second, possession of a small amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and indecent conduct, all misdemeanors, after the deputy responding to a possible drunk driver saw him next to his vehicle urinating in a parking lot on South Curry Street. Total bail was set at $4,350.

A 5:15 p.m. a 49-year-old Carson man was arrested on suspicion of an outstanding warrant charging domestic battery after a traffic stop for speeding in the 1200 block of North Saliman Road. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 8:05 p.m., a 38-year-old transient was arrested on suspicion of an outstanding parole and probation warrant out of Mineral County. He was arrested at Robinson Street and North Plaza Drive after a field investigation. He was ordered held without bail.

A known gang member was arrested at 1:30 p.m. on charges that stemmed with an incident Friday at Lampe Park in Gardnerville.

After deputies there broke up a gang fight, witnesses identified Andrew Tagay, 25, as the person who brandished a pistol hidden under his shirt. He was arrested the following day at Mills Parks in Carson City. According to the report, Tagay was charged as an ex-felon in possession of a firearm, a felony, carrying concealed weapon, a gross misdemeanor, and misdemeanors: Affray — the public fighting charge — and violating alternative sentencing conditions. According to the report, Justice of the Peace Armstrong ordered his bail raised to $500,000.

SUNDAY

At 12:10 a.m., A 26-year-old was arrested on suspicion of using alcohol, a violation of his suspended sentence conditions, after attempting to flee from the deputy who was originally called to the area on a report of potential domestic battery. He was taken into custody in a parking lot at Curry and Proctor streets and also charged with obstructing and resisting an officer. Total bail was set at $1,300.

At 10:56 a.m., a 55-year-old female transient was arrested on suspicion of trespassing after deputies say she trespassed on the property in the 3100 block of Imperial Road for the third time that morning. Bail was set at $150.

At noon, a 43-year-old Carson man was arrested on charges including a Reno Justice Court warrant after a traffic stop for failing to stop at a stop sign at Cinnabar and College Parkway. He was also charged with driving without a valid license and no proof of insurance. The Reno warrant specified no bail.

At 3:27 p.m., a Carson man was arrested on suspicion of being a fugitive from justice warrant issued in Georgia charging him with aggravated assault. Timothy Peters, 25, was ordered held without bail on the felony charge.

At 6:41 p.m., a Gardnerville 19-year-old was arrested at the Eagle Valley Market on Woodside Drive on a Douglas County failure to appear warrant. He also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $2,000.

At 8:45 p.m., a 38-year-old Minden man was arrested following a traffic stop at Airport Road and U.S. 50. He was taken into custody on a Reno Justice Court warrant charging cashing a check with insufficient funds. Bail was set at $500.

At 8:49 p.m., a Carson 27-year-old was arrested in a Janas Way residence on domestic battery charges. He is accused of grabbing his girlfriend by the sweatshirt and dragging her to the bathroom, ordering her to clean up a mess there. Bail was set at $3,000.

Two Reno men were arrested on suspicion felony of grand larceny charges after Walmart security called deputies to report they attempted to leave with a shopping cart full of merchandise. Ryan Nott and Anthony Harding were both charged with the felony and misdemeanor possession of stolen property. Nott’s bail was set at $25,600. In addition Harding was charged with battery on a security officer. His bail was set at $26,600.

MONDAY

• At 12:09 a.m., a 26-year-old Carson man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery after deputies responded to an apartment in the 100 block of Koontz Lane. Bail was set at $3,000.
