David McClanahan, 72, of Dayton, died Dec. 21, 2009. He was born Aug. 26, 1937, in Oakland, Calif. He was preceded in death by his brother Robert McClanahan. He is survived by his wife Rosemary McClanahan, son Steven McClanahan, and daughter Joan DeAlba, all of Dayton; brother William McClanahan of Stagecoach; sister, Patricia Taylor of El Cajon, Calif.; and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley, 1281 N. Roop St., Carson City.
