Dogs and Indians are improving in this pleasant, spring-like weather as they sun themselves very thoroughly and persistently in southern exposures and beside warm fences and lea-side walls. Envious white men and women affect a contempt for those happy idlers, but "I would I were a boy again!"

Ever since the war of the Revolution the name of Benedict Arnold has been held in destination and his hated memory execrated throughout the world. The recent revelation and exposures relative to the sale of embalmed beef to the soldiers of the war with Spain show that there are in the U.S. men along side of which the traitor of the Revolution would not care to stand in public.

Primitive Indian life in Nevada before the advent of the white man will be shown by a living exhibit at the Jot Travis Student Union building at the University of Nevada when Wezzie and Jimmie George will be on hand to illustrate some of the early primitive arts.

A Nevada Supreme Court task force has found women don't fare too well in Nevada courts. The Gender Bias Task Force report released found that women face obstacles in divorce settlements and in prosecution of domestic violence casts.
