Seminar today for job seekers

Carson City Library and Nevada Job Connect will present T.I.P.S. "Training in Professional Skills," today at 6 p.m. in the library's auditorium.

The workshop is designed to provide basic guidelines for people seeking employment and will highlight many of the available resources, as well as provide tips in preparing a resume, filling out a job application, appropriate interview skills and the importance of "first impressions."

Christina Slade, Business Service Consultant for the Nevada Employment Security Division, will present useful information for those just getting started in the job market and for those returning to the job market.
