Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- A 37-year-old unemployed Carson City woman was arrested at 8:17 p.m. in the 1100 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery.

- Jennifer Lynn Palomo, 28, a babysitter from Carson City, was arrested at 3:40 p.m. Monday on Highway 50 East on suspicion of two felony counts of possession of prescription drugs without a prescription. Bail was set at $25,000.

- Paul Jennings, 38, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 1:29 p.m. Monday in the 1500 block of Como Street on suspicion of felony parole violation and misdemeanor failure to comply. No bail was set.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

- A man showed up at the hospital at 12:58 a.m. and stated he'd been "jumped' by three men.

- Report of a domestic dispute in a convenience store on Airport Road where an intoxicated man hit a pregnant woman in the cheek at 5:45 a.m. The man then drove off in a white Blazer. Dayton officers stopped the vehicle in front of the State Park. He was arrested.

- Coroner call in the 700 block of West Bonanza Drive at 5:52 a.m.

- A purse was stolen from a vehicle in the parking lot of Fitness 10 between 12:45 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Lyon County

The following is one of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

- Arrest at 5:51 a.m. in Dayton.

Storey County

The following is one of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

- Report of a vehicle striking a guard rail on State Route 341 at 2:46 p.m.
